With the car running can you adjust the fan speed, if not and it's running on on full then it could be an issue with the fan resistor |

I had this exact problem and it was indeed the fan motor resistor. I pulled the fuse (I think it was 27 or 2 in the fuse box near the battery while I waited for the part. You'll have to remove the glove box but it's easily a diy fix if you don't mind laying on your back in the footwell. Interestingly, the auto functions didn't work at first so I used it on manual while I waited about 2 weeks for an appointment to have it calibrated. After about a week it started working normally so I think it can "learn" through usage without going on the garages machine. |
