Hi Have Just joined, as beginning to have numerous questions with my Freelander 2, now having done 90,000 miles.Have retired to Southern Ireland and need good advise on fixing things.
Just changed the Electric throttle as the cogs were all chewed up .All good but then the Terrain response system faulty message came up with special programs off!
Is this coincidence that the Haldex 4 has gone wrong at the same time.?
Have checked fuse and wiring.
Did the New throttle have to be programed in or totally is this a separate problem. As bank holiday here tomorrow wont be able to plug in fault finder at local friendly garage till later this week.
However is it ok to drive feels great other than no 4 wheel etc

Ah All solved, connection plug not fully pushed home on new electric throttle unit, although working, sending wrong signal to Haldex so that had gone into 2wheel drive only.
But will definitely give the Haldex a service now I know about it.
