didn't make that out from the thread .. so once I manage to release the lock and register as unlocked it should be ok, until it sticks again

France 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Zermatt Silver

see the photo in the first post. with the ignition on use a piece of wire between the relay connections which are on the left & right in the photo. you only need to make the connection to start the engine, then disconnect again. Hence way one end is fixed and the other is free
if its the same problem you should be able to start the engine that way
