My car a 2012 Freelander 2 has done 65000 miles and no knowledge of a timing chain renewal, should I get one now? |

Mine will be done well before that sort of mileage. By then the belt may have survived but the water pump will be shot I suspect. A few reports of belt premature failure so not worth the risk. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Have confirmed from my garage that the belt should be changed at 125000 or 10 years
