I had thought about that but because of where the jack is located (at the rear of the centre consol) it would be a matte of days until a kids foot destroyed it, is there a way to shortcut the wiring to the jack and link in somewhere or has someone successfully moved the audio jack |

You may not have bluetooth but it may be bluetooth compatible, if you have the Alpine-branded audio system with a subwoofer under the boot floor, then it's possible to add bluetooth, I did this with mine. 2008 Freelander 2 HSE Si6 Black/Black - Hers

In the previous post you can see the Mobridge bluetooth module, this is an aftermarket replacement for the factory bluetooth module, it also has bluetooth audio streaming.

That's really interesting Cambo. How do you select BT audio streaming as a source on the head unit? Also any idea of price - I couldn't see it on their site? |

I found the price in the US, it's ~550 USD. Pretty much the same as the original accesory LR offers. The only advantage I see for this bluetooth product is that it would be easier to install. The LR accesory means passing cable between the glove compartment and the dash. |
