Numerous electrical faults

Hiya just wondered if anyone had had problems like this. We have only owned the vehicle for 4 months .

It started off with sudden dash board failure which keeps going on and off,now the head lights are permanently stuck on unless the car is completely off. The climate control panel has just failed and now the passenger air bag sensor.
The garage have said we need 3 new parts and possibly a new battery although this is testing
Fine.
We are thinking there is something underlying in this causing things to fail one after the other . A surge or something maybe. We don't want to replace it all to find its something else or it blows the new parts
Any advice please. Thanks

Hi
i know very little about the whys and where's but i have read that the plugs in the passenger foot well can cause misc electrical issues, have you had a new pollen filter recently? fitting one can disrupt the plugs
