Possible to fit Gen 2.1 touchscreen in 2011 LR2 HSE LUX

Ive heavily searched the forums and so far, I have not been able to get an answer to this question. I would like to know if it is even possible to fit a Factory Touchscreen from the MY13 specs or newer into a MY11. Even if it involves replacing dash peices etc as the MY11 interrior/radio just looks old and outdated. I do understand this is quite involved. I am not looking to add a gps unit in the cubby, or add an aftermarket unit.

Any help is appreciated, even if directed to other sources.

Thanks,

i would say its not possible to do economically, there are a massive amount of differences under the skin between MY11 and MY13 so lots of electronic changes, file editing, cabling changes, not to mention the changes in dashboard, centre console etc.

Nothing is impossible, but the cost of doing such a change would probably be greater than the value of the car by quite some way

I have looked into it, it's a very complex job and needs a lot of wiring and hardware changes.

Far more economical to trade in your 2011 on a 2013 model with the updated infotainment in it... 2008 Freelander 2 HSE Si6 Black/Black - Hers
