If you have been searching the forum you will have seen my posts on the subject. This eBay item number:252363618542 is the same disc set I have. It is only 2009-2010. That is the latest I have seen. I too could do with a later set but I have yet to see one that is likely to be compatible.

Thanks for that Bob, its a shame LR disks are so expensive, I like how it all works together with the audio system tho so might have to bite the bullet.

Hi, the Volvo RTI disks do work in FL2's.

That is good news. My 2009/2010 discs are RTI. What part no's are your discs - & why does your voice not work?

There seems to be a legal genuine company in Coventry, with a price of £109 some £60 cheaper than LR outlets for that part number, does it change the LR mimic? Vovo dealerships seem to be £109+Vat, If that is so why are the LR versions so expensive?

With many TT and Garmin units now being sold with lifetime updates, I am surprised LR etc think they can get away with the prices they charge. Even £109 + VAT is steep in my view. I have just purchased a 2014 set of genuine Volvo discs which should do the job for £22 delivered.

I did go for "aftermarket" sat nav disk which you find easily on google. Why pay extra money if these are more up-to-date and work fine? |

Hi, I've just picked up a 2009 FL2 with FDSH. Playing with (the most complicated and confusing) sat nav, it seems quite up to date, but I guess the local roads so far haven't changed much. Is there some way to find out which map version it's using?

You can check the disk by taking it out of the unit which is under the drivers chair, it should have the version written on the disk. |
