Hi guys, another thing I have inherited from the previous owner.

The nearside rear door lock is playing up
Unlock all doors on fob and this door won't open
If i lean in and pull the inside catch and handle, door will then open from the inside and outside
Lock and unlock, same problem again!

Easy fix guys?

Not had the problem myself. However, if you use the "Search" function quoting "door lock" you will find the usual culprit is the door locking unit in the door. Just saying.

Was it private sale or dealer?
I noticed on my wifes FL2 just after we got it that the nearside rear door would unlock but did not lock with the others so got used to locking it manually before we got out, I read posts on here about the lock and was going to squirt some oil at it or replace it if that didn't work but after a couple of weeks noticed it was locking with all the other doors when we drove it.

I put it down to it sticking after being stood on the forecourt unused waiting to be sold so if it did come from a dealer give it a few weeks to see if it starts working. Mine, Saab convertible

Car was from a dealer, think it was on the forecourt for a few weeks so will give it a bit of time.
Wonder whether it might be worth spraying a bit of silicon spray in there to see if that helps. Martyn
