Saw this at Yeovil LR yesterday. Evidently it's one of the final edition, the number plate is personal and the MW refers to Morris Works and the HUE bit is the reg of the first batch ever made. You would have to be a real LR nerd to spot that.

LR have built in excess of 2000 stock defenders of varying types which can be registered up until the end of 2017. This is to bridge the gap until the new Defender arrives in 2019.

Mav are you sure about this My brother enquired last week about a defender and there is no stock left of brand new machines according to the LR dealer he visited. The only guys who have a big stock pile ready to be delivered still at their depo is Twisted. He's been speaking to Alex regarding a T80 edition. I was talking to a Porsche dealer recently who said that sometimes Porsche produce limited edition cars like the 911 GT3 RS 4.0 – a model so limited in supply that just 30 cars were allocated to the UK and each dealership had one car and knows who will be invited to buy it. These cars then sell at a premium of say £40k on the second hand market. I wonder if LR is doing something similar with the last run of Defenders? 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
