I hear it's a bit more upmarket than Spain and also well away from the migrant crisis and terrorism.

We stay in a village near Tavira, really nice and quiet but theres plenty to do, especially in and around Tavira! |

We also stayed in Tavira about 4 years ago, lovely and relaxing. We went in September so was fairly quiet, boat ride out to the beaches which can get busy. Definitely return there . Food and drink cheap too! |
