I know lets combine York Harrogate Scotland and NI in a trade alliance, maybe some other counties will join , it could grow into a cross European free trade agreement

so this shows that the LR owners of the forums wanted to leave the EU, it also shows those with more expensive cars (more wealth) wanted out also (Disco3/4 owners spend their money fixing them)

This is a very negative statement - other self governing island nations such as Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Malaysia have good lifestyles and economies. Japan had a 'lost decade' of economic recession/stagnation during the 1990's but has bounced back. Constant economic growth is not more important than retaining our countryside and keeping the population to sensible levels, neither of which can be corrected once lost. |

I know, it's really disappointed me. It looks like Land Rover owners might not be the outward looking, broad minded, internationalists I'd always hoped they were. It turns out that they are significantly more "small island mentality" than the average member of the British public. I've been a strong supporter of British made products and our own national identity for many years. I've also been a strong supporter of the UK playing a leading role in guiding Europe. Today, I just feel shame and humiliation. I would feel embarrassed if I were in main land Europe today. We have now lost our Prime Minister, the Pound has fallen through the floor, markets are in turmoil, Scotland is now prepared by for a fresh referendum to leave the UK (they are almost certain to leave after this), Spain is on about Gibralter yet again and worst of all, Donald Trump thinks it's a good result! Today will go down in infamy as the day we threw it all away |

Too right. The FTSE 100 dipped on opening (not even to the lowest point of the year), its been rising ever since, by 9:30 it was back trading at the bottom of its range for the year and is currently above that now at 6,213. Two weeks ago it was at 5,923 and 4 months ago it was at 5,536.

Landrover Jaguar issued a statement this morning saying that Brexit will not affect their manufacturing sites in the UK nor their investment decisions, so cheer up Tigger. Most if the market volatility is hedge funds short selling stock and making shed loads of money. MY 09 GS manual in Lago Grey, Wood Co arm rest and side bumper strips - now sold.
