I'm just at the thinking about it stage really. I don't take my Freely off road, except for sometimes having to tow the caravan on and off grass pitches. I only tow the van for three weeks or so per year these days. I don't want to give up the high driving position or the comforting stability of a 4*4 but to have one that does 40 rather than 30 to the gallon in normal driving is increasingly appealing since the pension isn't going up anytime soon! I love the ambience of the cabin in my HSE, with its leather, air con, etc and so any replacement would need similar fittings. The top-range Yeti is very nice indeed inside. Most of my driving is two-up only, or at most four, so smaller size would, in fact, probably be a good thing considering the sort of lanes I drive on down here - but it would need to take my golf bag and trolley!
Just to be girly - I like the look of the Yeti, especially in white! Ours - 2008 Stornoway Grey HSE Auto
Tricia's - 2006 Royal Blue Beetle Cabriolet Auto
Mine - 2014 Vespa GTS 300 Super Sport Matt Black
Ours - 2007 White Bailey Pageant Champagne
