Factory Dual Exhaust Tips

One of the chrome tips on my dual exhaust seems to be pushed back so that the exhaust pipe is showing through it. I'm assuming from this that the chrome tips are separate parts to the actual back-box? Can't see how this could have happened otherwise, and hoping if true I should be able to WD40 it and pull it back into place.

Can anyone confirm?

Cheers

Sounds like you've unwittingly reversed into some low object, but more chance that another car has nudged it whilst parking. FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

Brodit active iPhone holder + Brodit dash clip,
Bluetooth Music Streaming Module.

I bought it like it...the pipes aren't bent or damaged, just the chrome tip pushed back. It's just annoying me more today Smile

To answer my own question, there is a recessed grub screw at the bottom of the chrome trim.
