Timed climate control

HI All,

Hopefully picking up my new HSE next Friday, and have been reading the user manual. It refers to timed climate control, which i've also seen some foreign reviews refer to. Can anyone tell me if this is a standard feature of the UK HSE?

No it's not.
Having looked at the build configurator and specification sheets on www.landrover.co.uk I don't think it's an option in UK.

Unfortunately not. Evil or Very Mad I would certainly choose it if it was an option.

A 7 days timer which can start at predefined hours the Fuel Burning Heater (Webasto) which equips some cars.

Bugblatter,

Timed climate control is where you can control the air temperature within the car for a certain time (30 mins?) For example, heat up the car before you get in it.

It's not my vehicle, no, but it is available as it demonstrates, so wondering if its a CCF enable once the webasto has been installed. Foraging near Gaydon....

I had the webasto preheater on both my FL1 but without the timer (think it was a £+++ accessory option)

Brilliant bit of kit as it warmed the car up a lot quicker, and combined with the heated screen and seats in my 2004MY made winter morning commuting a lovely place to be Very Happy

The only thing was that pedestrians used to panic at the sight of the exhaust fumes coming out from underneath the front bumper Rolling with laughter

I had an SE FL1 with the fuel burning heater but I suspect that it never turned off. I was going to disconnect it but never got round to it. Funny though how every autumn when the weather turned cold there would be FL1 owners on the forum worried about seeing smoke coming from the front of their cars. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

Been researching these possibilities and I advise you to follow the following process.

1. Was the item not fitted to your vehicle an option in your country. If yes then a high chance the wiring is there. If not then do a search on Topix for your Vin to establish wiring exists.
2. Purchase and Install the item.
3. Instal module which controls said item if not already existing.
4. CCF will need to be edited by a LR dealer or someone who has a diagnostic tool to enable system to be recognised and initialised.
