Where is he in the pecking order of your home pack? He should be at the bottom. Fed last, get used to having food, treats, toys etc taken away mid play or mid snack, made to wait last before going out of a door or getting in the car, not allowed to get in the bed, go upstairs or on sofa etc. without your express permission. Sometimes they might think they are second in command and take over role as pack leader when you are not there? Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

All of the above, I've spent the last month, drilling home his position, took me ages to get through doors as he is always at my heels. Any chews/bones taken from him mid feed, especially if he growled. Made to sit on the floor not the sofa

Our friends have just had their 6 year old Cocker done. He wanted to fight/dominate/hump many other male dogs he came into contact with. Only had it done a few months ago but already he has calmed down somewhat. Then again, so would I! |
