On most cars it is just a push fit, maybe helped here & there with a soft mallet. Should not be falling off on 2013 car! 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

It's on with adhesive, till date I have had two passenger and one drivers doors seal replaced on an brand new MY14 car. It's a common issue that the dealers will replace under warranty.

This is one that has been replaced under warranty and it's already coming off.

Held in place with adhesive, my previous MY11 had one come away and no amount of 'repairing' cured it. When I eventually swapped the car for my present one it went in still with the faulty seal, this one is OK for now. |
