England 2013 Freelander 2 TD4_e GS Auto Sumatra Black

When I got my General Grabbers AT tyres for my car, I checked with my insurance company about fitting tyres with a lower speed rating. The AT's are a H were as the Wrangers they were replacing were V ratings. Insurance company told me that insurance wise it wasn't an issue as long as I wasn't changing the tyre or wheel size. Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.
Gone MY2010 Freelander 2 Manual TD4.e S, Alaska White.

I emailed Michelin in 2011 and received this reply;

Thank you for your enquiry about tyres for your Freelander 2

According to our information, the 108H is a suitable fitment for your Freelander 2.

Should you require any further assistance please contact us on 0845 366 1590 (UK & NI) or 0044 (0) 1782 401590 (ROI), quoting the reference number above.

Regards

The only input that I have from Belgium is that the speed rating of the tyres on the same axle must be identical.
I had an MOT failure (Technical control over here) due to having the same tyre size, same manufacturer, same model but one was a 92V and the other a 92W and this on a C5 which couldn't achieve the maximum speed of either tyre......

Some insurance companies do require notification if you change the specification of the tyre from that originally fitted. My insurance company insisted I informed them when I switched from summer to winter tyres as it was considered a "performance modification". Crazy but true so to be on the safe side I would contact your insurer by email so you have evidence of their reply if the worst happens and you have an accident.
