Just power up the engine then change the disc. Wait for the satnav to return to normal. Could take a while if firmware out of date - otherwise very quick. Silver 2009 HSE |

I updated mine with the 2019 disc from SatNav shop recently, vehicle turned on, disk changed, system started and immediately the system was live, no delay at all, to the fact that I wondered if it had even updated!

My guess is that due to age there will be no new firmware updates so it will just be a case of reading the map as needed. Mine was the same this year - instant use. Silver 2009 HSE |

They take roundabouts away where you are? I thought the trend was the other way.....oh well, sounds like the disc is up to date, that’s good to hear Regards David Lovely i6 has now gone, but not me...... Please let me know if anything in my post offends you, as I may wish to offend you again...... |

I bought a 2017-2018 disc from satnavdisc and this disc does contain newer updates. A road which was finished in 2015 is on it, it was not on the last disc of LR. I don't know where these shops get the updated maps, maybe from Volvo or Subaru discs. But I know at least some of these discs do contain updated maps. |

Are we talking satnav shop here or satnav store please. If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.
