I remember when I was at school someone passing an extinguisher knocked it off the wall and it went off, it was dry powder and everyone emerged from the room looking like snowmen, it made a heck of a mess. |

I feel for you, a loan freelander 2 we had caught fire for no known reason whilst parked not Long after a short journey, that was a total loss. Ours started with the alarm going off, then smoke from the bonnet near the battery and then flames and lots more flames. Did yours do the same?.

yup, they even added a sunroof for good measure! Lucky for me it burst into flames on another driveway so my neighbours have no idea. |

IMO there is no advantage to having DAB in a noisy vehicle. In fact instead of fading out like an FM signal, the DAB radio just makes a strange noise and goes off completely. When I park in my works underground carpark, it's as if I've turned the whole thing off. At least with FM it tries to keep going. |
