Creaky Seat Fix? Maybe

I agree with a previous post that it is the seat belt "stalk" rubbing on the side of the seat. I took some black Velcro Tape (High Strength Industrial type) and wrapped the soft side 1/2 way around the side of the corrugated stalk that rubs on the seat.

No Creaks on Corners! Razz

Hope this helps my FL2 friends across the pond!

Well said AndyC Thumbs Up

If the caravaners stopped visiting [insert your part of the country] I would love to see what the knock on effect on job situation would be as tourism brings money and jobs for your local community.

We don't all have to visit our own country on a Wallace Arnold Coach, carrying camera and flasks of tea and stay in cottages or hotels Exclamation

It has been said to me in the past that due to the Anti Caravan side of the forum, (which I see as friendly banter) that a fair few people have stayed away, which means people are either not benefiting from their knowledge or their not benefiting from our collective knowledge.

Which ever way you look at it the Freelander 2 is a ideal tow car, whether your towing a trailer, caravan, boat or horse box. So STOP critisising those who choose to tow a caravan.

I sure you all think that Freel2 does not want to be labeled the FL2 Resource site that's anti caravan.

Cheers

Yeh right you CG have really gone and done it this time Evil or Very Mad - SO
CG and others:
There is nothing wrong about being old Laughing In fact there is a lot of positive things about being ol...whoops ADULT Thumbs Up
I do not own a CARAVAN, I never have and I never will. - I have a mountain cabin that serves all my holiday requirements here in Norway and a house in England when I need to visit the old home.
I do not hate CARAVANS, and I do not love them - I just note that they are there and great for those that like them.
Towbars can be used for several things besides CARAVANS.
CARAVANS here in Norway are not a problem as the FL2 just wizes past with no problems at all Thumbs Up
However Farmers driving TRACTORS with trailers slow slow slow are a PAIN in the A Censored S Censored S Evil or Very Mad

I sugesst our young whipper-snapper farm-lad CG, get his F Censored G act together and stop all the C Censored P rubbish he keeps wasting our time with on Freel2 Evil or Very Mad Otherwise I might just take a visit to his B Censored Y farm and release all his F Censored G chickens Thumbs Up 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.

......it would be so nice to have the majority of posts & topics FL2 related.........and all the stuff about caravans, kids, getting married etc etc posted to spacebook (if that's what it's called).

There is more useful & interesting info in 1 Yamaha Fan post - than all of the other stuff that's taking over the forum.

all the best from Denmark !

I say keep things "happy go lucky" Peoples questions should always be answered of course, and ideas, opinions listened to, but lets share a joke or two. If you don't like a post then simply move on.

I like the friendly banter on here, It helps us to get to know each other better,so possible be able to help each other more. Lets not aim for a dry sterile facts only forum.

I will keep my anti-vaner sentiments to a minimum, believe me I do try too, but its just so easy Whistle At work
