I think thats so if you forget to close the window you don't have to switch ignition on again. |

They remain operational for around a couple of minutes or so after you switch off, along with the door mirrors, as long as you dont open a door, that will cancel it too. |

If you open the door before closing the window it stops the window from closing it is normal to operate the windows after stopping the car. |
