windows

Hi all
After switching off the engine and removing the key i can still operate the electric windows. Is this normal?
If i open and shut the drivers door they don't do this. it seems as though the circuit is live even with the ignition off and the key undocked.

I think thats so if you forget to close the window you don't have to switch ignition on again.

They remain operational for around a couple of minutes or so after you switch off, along with the door mirrors, as long as you dont open a door, that will cancel it too.

If you open the door before closing the window it stops the window from closing it is normal to operate the windows after stopping the car.
