Footwear lights

Hi
I have just checked to see if I have footwell lights fitted as they are not lighting up.
On the passenger side I have a socket with no bulb in it. But It only has a single blue wire going to it. Can anyone advise where I can locate the other wire from? Also what colour would it be.
