Never mind , should fit fine. For anyone that's thinking of installing a android tablet in place of the sat nav I found that the "pipo U2 ultra 7" tablet may be one of the best suited. It has a thin bezel and the connections run along the long length of the tablet.

No I gave up on the idea in the end. Mainly due to finding out the pipo tablet doesn't have a gps chip ! |
