yes, it's not cheap, but you don't need to do it that often. Why not use the correct stuff? |

Hi unfortunatly i dont know of alternate brands. But have you got a price from forum sponser Dan @ Duckworths. Im guessing you can probably pick up the genuine reccomended product for less than you can get alternatives if there are any.

I think we are just struggling to see why you would want to use anything else. So in answer to your original post, no, there aren't any cheaper alternatives that would be recommended. Good luck with the work. |

Here on my country/town, we have a street which is full of workshops and stores that sell car parts, accessories and consumables. For sure you have one on your town/region.

There are quite a few cheaper alternative of say the diff oil ep80w 90 but the money saving is only a few pounds. Morris oil do the same specification as well as comma oil. I change my oil at my mates garage as he buy his oil in large drums so I only pay for the oil I use and he always swears by using the correct manufacture recommended brand. |
