United Kingdom 2010 Freelander 2 TD4_e GS Manual Santorini Black

My MY10 GS failed its MOT in March due to a twisted front brake hose - apparently "dangerous to drive."

It is still on its original pads and tyres so the wheels / callipers have never been off - the implication is that the car left the factory like that.

I am the second owner - it was supplied as Used Approved by Lloyds in Carlisle, with the brakes all ticked as "ok" on the PDI. It's rear diff failed soon after and Caffyns in Lewes dealt with that, carrying out ANOTHER PDI as I had no faith in LLoyds by then. They too ticked the brakes as "ok"...

When all this came to light Land Rover CS stepped in and paid for the 5th service and greatly reduced the price of a further 12mth warranty as compensation.
