Scary Accident

Evening all.

Thought I'd share what I saw today that shook me up a bit. Family and I were in the car in the centre of Edinburgh doing 25mph Max. Bus lane to the left with a Clio minding its own business (bus lanes not active on weekends) and a Golf just pulls into the lane from our lane and clips the Clio. Somehow, the Clio must have mounted the wheel of the Golf, tipped onto its side and then rolled onto its roof, making its way onto the pavement in the process.

Thankfully no one was on the pavement and the driver of the Clio was helped out of his smashed door window. No one seemed hurt.

What astonished me was how easily a modenr car like that could end up on its roof at such low speeds! Scared the life out of me.

Sadly had we been in my FL2 it would have been caught on the dashcam. Would have been useful for the drivers plus I could have seen exactly how the car flipped.

Drive safe all. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues
2019 DS. Terribly unreliable.
Sold DS for a 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Fingers crossed....
Sold Outlander for a 2014 SD4 SE Tech because I’m mental
Now greatly regret selling the Outlander. MPG of the FL2 is atrocious and so are the fuel bills. Fun though 😎
Couldn’t afford the fuel bills so back to an older Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Significantly better than I remembered it to be…
