Clutch replacement.

I need to put my foot further on the clutch to start the engine. Can I assume that means the clutch is
on the way out? What are your thoughts on clutch replacement? Do you wait til you break down, or get
it replaced at a certain mileage? I sold my previous FL2 with 129,000 miles on the clock, and still going
strong! Current car 83,000 miles. 2013 Dynamic Santorini black

No. To start the engine all you're doing is pressing a switch with the pedal itself. If everything else is OK it's just a mechanical issue with the pedal and switch.

Thanks PAB. Can the switch become faulty? Sometimes it takes 3 - 4 attempts to start it. 2013 Dynamic Santorini black
