I urge you all to try and lift your opened tailgates. Mine seemed a little low so I stood under it and lifted it a little and noticed that the lower mountings for the gas struts had come loose allowing the whole thing to sag slightly. perhaps the extra weight of my leather belt handle has pushed its design limits to critical mass At work

Vaners need not check this in the hope that a falling tailgate will knock some sense into them. At work

No need for us others to check for a tailgate problem It was probably only an attempt of sabotage by vaners 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof. Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc. |

After slight reversing mishap involving a combine harvester and a barn door frame the huge side panel on my machine is now held down with of all things a leather belt
