what type of mileage can i exp???????? somethings fishy

just looked at spare in boot and its a 17 inch ! the 4 on the jeep are 16 inch.landrover will replace it with a 16 inch when they look at the conds in rear light bulb.not happy .thinking my tyers/wheels are off a different fl2 with a lot more than 3500 miles on the clock ! and having to buy new ones a lot sooner than thought. Sitting at 41500 miles on the original rubber, still measuring 5mm. The wear is very even all around.

I'm not trying to fob you off Avtur, but shouldn't you be holidaying not surfing the net? Get out there and tour some local attractions At work

in a vectra that i had alloys which were 18inch but the spare was a steel 17inch with more rubber in the tyre to make up the difference, are you sure that 17inch FL2 Spare wheels is just got less rubber to make it the same radius as the alloys

Might be worth another person with the same model comparing Thumbs Up Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Yep I've had wet holidays in France (2001 hailstones floating in the pool like icecubes) and Belgium, also Italy but that was in November At work

Wheel swaps seem to be very common with the UK dealers, which may be due to incorrect orders and things like that, so I wouldn't worry too much as I am sure they were brand new when they were fitted.

The 17" rim could be used as a spare without issue as the rolling radius is almost identical to that of a 16" and so during normal driivng you would not even notice a difference. Once you've tasted GREY you'll never go back!
