Nice car for the day

My Fl2 is in again with the parking sensors beeping when it rains, and to have the new keyfob programmed and a rattle in the headling sorted and to look at some flaking laquer from a resprayed rear bumber and a finally a rubber wheel arch trim replaced that fell off. Rolling Eyes

So they gave me a Tambora Flame FL2 SE with full body kit, leather/plastic seats, automatic gear box, and the sweet sounding i6 petrol engine. Cool

Does it Whistle

The i6 likes to be driven hard and does have a nice rasp to it, and goes pretty well. Once you've tasted GREY you'll never go back!

Sounds better than the 1.4 Ford Fiesta I got when I had mine in for the 15k service! Wasnt too handy with the two of us, two nephews, booster seats and associated gear we had for a day out.

just nipped back to collect my car and got a call saying it wasn't ready, when i was nearly there Rolling Eyes , so i called in anyway and asked them regarding the disk and they thought it was in the car, so it looks like somebody has had off with it anyway Shocked

Also saw a D3 in Bonneville, with looked really nice, though the car would have been better with cream leather interior and a set of bigger wheel.

also speaking to the sales chap who i dealt with, and he said they had cut back on staff, due to the current climate Shocked Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

also on the way back to the dealer, did the trip reset, and normal drive at speed limits, slow accelerating etc and got an impressive 32mpg. Thumbs Up

it took some doing to drive like that though as the engine wasn't singing away and it felt like something was missing Razz Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
