Should be just about the same on both , a very similar tyre diameter
Strictly speaking it was never going to be 1 inch different as that refers to the diameter of the wheel the radius would be half an inch different  At work

The whee circumference is the same with 16,17,18 and even 19 inch rims. The tyre profile alters with the rim diameter to give a lower profile on a larger diameter rim.

As already said the rolling radius of the tyre and rims is almost identical from 16" up to 19" rims, so no increase in ground clearance. Once you've tasted GREY you'll never go back!

I always took it to be assumed that the tyre/wheel outer circumference was the same for all LR2 wheel sizes and therefore no difference in ground clearance to speak of  2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc.

Almost the same, not identical, but you are talking maybe a few mm difference if that.... depending on the combination. Once you've tasted GREY you'll never go back!

If you are worried about the odd millimeter, dont forget that the ground clearnce will reduce as the tyres wear!

More significantly:
Touch the brakes and you lose front ground clearance.

Drive off a bump and you lose ground clearnce as the suspension absorbs the drop.

Fit underbocy protection and you reduce teh ground clearnace so you may touch where previously you didn't (but it dosn't damage if you touch anything with the sump/tank guard)

Drive carefully LOL!
