Fault code??

Hi all,
Just had a friend put his diagnostic machine on our 2011 freelander 2 to clear the annoying oil service light, at the same time he came across this code
B1OOA-15 Permanant Fuel pump authorisation

It wouldnt clear via the machine, can anyone advice me what this actually means? not very mechanically minded and even with a google search I didnt really get much info.
Thanks in advance Regards
J Jenkinson

Hi
Fuel filter replaced 2 weeks ago when serviced at 42000 miles, could that be causing the problem?? Regards

If OEM filter fitted then should be fine, I would try a hard reset and rescan 2014 SE Loire Blue SD4 Auto (MY15)

I have the same problem

i have the same problem, just installed a new pump and cross over pipe for the saddle tank, all fuses wiring and relays checked through TOPIX but still wont clear.

The vehicle when setting off from a standing start with slight progression on the throttle will give a slight couple of backlash turbo like jolts accompanied by 3 or 4 whooshes which decrease in noise - these must be from the turbo boost pressure which is reducing down from the amount of throttle i originally asked for on the accelerator.

ive checked all in let and out let turbo hoses / inter cooler the whole 9 yards,

We did have a turbo actuator cog that had a couple of teeth missing once and had gotten corroded so will check that next, but anyone have any other ideas ??? cheers
