Mav71 comments in the link below he's seen a metropolis in the flesh, on 14th May 2014 so production start would be before that date.

This is the first post I can find on Freel2 about the Metropolis. It includes first details of the spec by a dealer. LR that is. So I guess ability to order and delivery to customers would be after this date I assume.

Metropolis owners can put there vin plate into this web site and it will tell you the build date.

All FL2 owners could also put their VIN into Topix where they will get build date plus much more information about their specific car, |

Solihull quote 3 days from start to finish so I assume Halewood would be similar. +0.5 days if the roof is different. I assume they mean different colour but never seen that on a FL.

It takes (including painting) 17.27 hours. As confirmed at Halewood on the 2013 tour. Surprised? You should be!! Foraging near Gaydon....

I'm assuming this is time to assemble not time to build? Picking up a completed driver's seat and fixing four bolts doesn't really qualify as building from scratch. |
