Anyone know if I would need to do any mods to wiring etc if I were to replace my 13MY LED cluster to the earlier ones (like these?)

You would think you could get one - rarer than rocking horse doo doo or as it's known in these parts I'll think about the CanBus - had not considered that previously No Longer the owner of a 2013MY Fuji White GS "Fiat Lux" a philosophy not a car |

Thanks I know you can upgrade by changing some wiring but not sure about the reverse procedure It's just a last resort as I am failing miserably to locate a replacement cluster for mine - and I'm simply not prepared to spend stupido money for a LR replacement No Longer the owner of a 2013MY Fuji White GS "Fiat Lux" a philosophy not a car |

There is a trader on eBay that frequently sells pairs of LED lights amongst other things. The last time I looked they were selling at £150-£170 per pair. She also sells buy it now single sides for £100 plus £10.xx P&P. Might be worth making the enquiry directly. PM for contact details if you want them.

Canbus systems allow messages/electrical impulses to be sent along single pathways to control a number of systems. If one of those systems suddenly requires 21w (brake bulb system) v 4/5w (Led brake) then I suggest this would cause a raft of issues for the Canbus system/lighting module/safety systems. Resistor ballast can solve error messages to counter incandescent to LED conversion on systems previously running incandescent bulbs but the juxtaposition is far more problematic as the system would have to supply extra current down the same route creating overload situation which could lead to any number of negative outcomes.
