The rolling diameter will be about the same I believe, so should ok be for temporary use. Somebody else will no doubt confirm but 225/65/x doesn't sound much like a space saver...?

Not a space saver as you say, but it does seem to be what LR (used to?) supply as a spare. I have one of those - 225/65/17 on a steel wheel. Why 225 rather than the standard 235 only LR can say - a 235 can't be that much more expensive surely?! Anyway, that should be fine as a spare with the 18" road wheels, but being a steel wheel is supposed to be limited to 50mph. |

It does have the speed restriction sticker on the steel wheel,was just a hope as I keep getting out bid or some of the hse wheels on the bay of evil are silly money ! |

Is there an issue fitting a steel wheel with bolt (or is it nuts) from an alloy wheel? SD4 HSE Lux Orkney Grey,Full size spare tyre,Ugly kid glass. |

My trick is to find a buy it now and phone / text / email using the number / email address usually on the page, offering to buy it at a lower price if it doesn't sell. I bought my new 19" rim this way. |
