Rear spoiler brackets

Hi Dan - please can you advise. Can you purchase separate from the spoiler the brackets and bolts used to secure the rear spoiler on a Freelander 2? And if so how much please? Many thanks Jason --------------------------------------------

If it is of any help, You will find spoiler fitting instructions on Topix. It is in:

Documents/ Accessory Fitting/ Styling/ 2. VPLFB0017-19-21-23 - Freelander 2 Body Kit 5 Door.

The spoiler instructions are on page 11.

Thanks a lot!

But I really can't understand pictures 54 and 55 Rolling with laughter

EDIT: I think now I figured it out; the spoiler look a bit wider than the door!

That's good... The paper instructions would be just the same as on topix. Thumbs Up

Yeah, it's definitely good to be able to see (at least) these instruction on Topix!

Last question: what are the 2 items shown in pics 48-49 and coded 3M-VHB and 3M-4298?

I suspect that they are double sided sticky pads. The next drawings show the protective backing paper being peeled off.

The spoiler is stuck to the car and supported by the brackets

As above. 3M-4298 is an adhesive agitator. You need to peel the backing off the pad, and use the adhesive agitator to wipe the sticky part of the pad before you affix it to the part itself. Make sure you do it in a well vented area, and wear the supplied disposable gloves, as it WILL irritate bare skin. Foraging near Gaydon....
