Not sure I like all the lettering on the back "Land Rover Freelander 2 .... HSE TD4"

I like cars left to be quite original, but what is the general consensus on removing them?

Was thinking perhaps to remove the '2'

Take off the FREELANDER 2 and replace it with LR2 as they have abroad??

Or make your own FL2 out of what you have there already??

Just removing the 2 is neither here or there?

Ive seen HANG OVER on a Range Rover bonnet, good for the brewers??

I've seen SABURU on a Scooby-do, - presumably the African model?

I've removed all the lettering from the back of mine (except for the number plate of course, unfortunately that has to stay) - looks much better.

Take a photo of the car, edit a copy to remove the lettering (or change it to what you want) then flip between the two to see the difference.

An option to removing is to change the colouring of the lettering to black (for a dark vehicle).
It's still there ....... but not as noticeable.
Did that on my Lago grey........ but also removed the (GS TD4) model designation. FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

Brodit active iPhone holder + Brodit dash clip,
Bluetooth Music Streaming Module.

I debadged mine briefly and yes it does look more cleaner. However every time I see an LR without the LAND ROVER script on the bonnet I assume it's been in an accident been resprayed and they have not bothered to fit the LR back on.

Ive changed all mine to black gloss lettering on the bonnet and boot.

Toying with the idea of removing the Freelander 2 on the back and replacing it with Land Rover in gloss black spread across which will match the Range Rover style of lettering................. hopefully

if you remove all the lettering though folk might think its something cheap like a Sang Song Tu Sing or something?

Thats the beauty of the 'older' Land Rover box design...... they are unmistakeable shapes on the road rather than innocuous clones
