My experience would suggest they would give you a refurb. In theory nothing wrong with a refurb 6 but I understand why you wouldn't want one.

I dropped my 6 down the bog! Whipped it out quickly and dried it off. Worked fine for about 20 mins then died on me. Tried the 'net solution of leaving it in a bowl of dried rice in the airing cupboard for a few days but with no success. Gave up and took it to the Apple shop and they gave me a refurbed one for about £275 I think. As long as its backed up, all the progs and stuff should be on there when you set up the new one. I suppose you could insist on just having the speaker replaced or just make out that its gone faulty but I understand that there are tell-tales inside the phone that change colour when exposed to moisture. |

The replacement loudspeaker arrived today and I fitted it in approx half an hour! Best £8 I have spent |
