United Kingdom 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Zermatt Silver
Rear wheel bearing

Hi

My rear wheel has started grumbling when cornering (left hand corners only) so I'm planning to replace the rear wheel bearing and hub. Ideally I'd like to do this myself, I'm confident to tackle most things and pretty handy with tools. Has anyone done this before?

Does this topic cover what I need for the rear?

Any help or guidelines are much appreciated

Cheers

Before going to all the trouble of changing the bearing, try swapping the tyre to see if it moves, I had a lot of trouble like this with the wrangler tyres. Eventually changed them for Pirelli Verde and bingo, no noises

Worth a try.  MY2014 SD4 XS
