Whatever the fixing plate is its critical that you get it as the front bezel clips to it as well (I am 99% sure).

Thanks both. I spent some time scouring that site last night. Just hoping that someone knows what the fog housing on a facelift bumper looks like |

So I spoke with a mechanic at my local LR dealer - he says that the Foglight housings are the same between bumpers and that mine should simply fit over the extrusions on the facelift bumper. The extrusions are simply to take the newer style bezels. The housings will have to plastic-welded (ideally) or stuck on (sikaflex) though. Phew. |
