I have found that Q-Bond works for me on broken plastic.

milliput about £4 try and get grey rather than the standard off yellow, lots on ebay

Thanks all - some good suggestions there. I'll look into Q-Bond and Milliput and take it from there, although the actual repair might have to wait until it gets a bit warmer! |

I haven't tried it on the bumper yet - I've been busy with other things, whilst waiting for the temperature at least to get above freezing! Hopefully in the next week or two. I'll let you know how I get on once it's done. |
