Ha, have done almost exactly the same thing this weekend, but using a couple of quid aluminium framed cob led drl from the bay! 2000 Xei 1.8 gone

Currenlty velcroed, but likley I'll run some fine wire round it to keep it in place...

Saw this post and was inspired to do my own mod with a 12volt led kitchen down lighter ...This gives out excellent light and looks ok as well I think . Light from amazon £8.99.
