Autotrader Prices

As some of you may know, I'm a bit miffed at my FL2. Owned it for 9 months and it has already had a number of issues. I am no longer confident in it and I am considering selling it.

I have been on Autotrader and thought the price quoted seemed quite reasonable.

60 reg facelift
36k miles
TD4 GS in Santorini black
Fully serviced

Quoted about £14k selling price (private sale).

Does anyone know if the Autotrader prices are accurate? I don't want to be led up the garden path and be disappointed.

Thanks FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues
2019 DS. Terribly unreliable.
Sold DS for a 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Fingers crossed....
Sold Outlander for a 2014 SD4 SE Tech because I’m mental
Now greatly regret selling the Outlander. MPG of the FL2 is atrocious and so are the fuel bills. Fun though 😎
Couldn’t afford the fuel bills so back to an older Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Significantly better than I remembered it to be…

Was that with an approved warranty? I'm assuming one without warranty would be worth less? FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues

Might be worth looking at prices on ebay motors too as well as We buy any car (just to get some ideas). You could also go to a garage and to look at another car and casually ask what yours is worth. They will give you a good idea of the current auction price and what a private sale might deliver. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
5 x FL2 4 manual + 1 auto

My experience with trade in prices have not been good. I traded a £21000 1 year old Kia Sportage for £13k in order to get my FL2. That was the best I could get.

I can afford to sell it privately and be without a car for a few days as I would have thought Id get a better price, plus my wife would slaughter me if I lost money on that car only to spend more on a replacement. Which is understandable. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues

The FL2 is a great car but you need substantial emotional and financial resources to be comfortable owning one (even with a warranty). 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
5 x FL2 4 manual + 1 auto

Certainly seems to be the case for me. Gutted as I love the car but just cant afford tor it to continue the way it has been going outside of warranty.

Plus I'm moving to Edinburgh in a few months and don't think the FL2 will really work well there, assuming we even need a second car there. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues

That 12k looks a reasonable price with minimal hassle. IME, Autotrader prices are usually a bit optimistic.

FL may not be the best in the city itself, but it's the perfect vehicle for getting out into the Highlands (and lowlands and islands come to that). Assuming, of course, you're not one of those people who never leaves the city. Act in haste and risk repenting at leisure...

Oh I know. We live un a rural area just now and I love my dirty back roads.

If the car hadn't reliably had a problem every few months Id never consider getting rid of it, but I just have no confidence in it now. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues

Don't paint every Land Rover with the same brush.

There are way more out there that have never had any issue than those that have. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........
