Well... reading this and other forums (fora?) I see plenty of admittedly anecdotal evidence in favour of 2SO as a modest additive, but no-one reporting any consequential problems, early component failures, wear, or degradation. On that basis, I'm giving it a punt.

Ok, I believe in the use of 2 stroke oil and have used it for many years. About to get a new LR, should I use oil from the start or run-in first?

One thing I have noticed since using 2SO in my non DPF car is that the tailpipe is not as sooted up as it used to be. I guess it must be running a bit cleaner which would also explain why the smoke test result at MOT was better than last year. John

Yeah I'd be interested in your feedback, I have been waiting for what I deem as a fair price to pay to try out this 2SO business. I went there as a favour to my wife and like most men I looked around the car bits, obviously a limited time offer so grab it if you can.

Nice one Eyorkshire! Just order a couple of litres to pick up from my local store. Was previously using their own brand at £5 a litre. John

EY, Looking forward to hearing what you think once you have added the 2SO. Have you put it in yet? |

Yes, I glug glugged about 300ml in and filled up with diesel (I am now officially poor), not interested as such in any fuel saving although that would be a bonus but I won't know because I won't check.
