If, it is like the update on the disco and RR sport, then not easy, not without extra wiring and programming. This is because the wiring and type of communication is different, if you were committed for a full on project I believe Pete at Bell Auto Services, a sponsor on Disco3 could help.
There are also DIY threads on Disco3 too but not without help from the pros for the actual wiring bit.
I agree, they are nicer, perhaps sticking with your current type but going for the Megan fox smooth heated type may be an idea, as the rest of the functions will be the same as you already have, so no real functional upgrade from your current wheel SD4 HSE Lux
