Latest style steering wheel to preface lift

Has anyone successfully fitted the latest style steering wheel to older fl2??

I just prefer the look of the newer one

If, it is like the update on the disco and RR sport, then not easy, not without extra wiring and programming. This is because the wiring and type of communication is different, if you were committed for a full on project I believe Pete at Bell Auto Services, a sponsor on Disco3 could help.

There are also DIY threads on Disco3 too but not without help from the pros for the actual wiring bit.

I agree, they are nicer, perhaps sticking with your current type but going for the Megan fox smooth heated type may be an idea, as the rest of the functions will be the same as you already have, so no real functional upgrade from your current wheel Thumbs Up SD4 HSE Lux

Thx Dave.... Tbh it's the fact of coming from an rrs to the fl2...... Might just end up going for the refit and thicker style as just searched and read loads on other threads..... Not willing shed out hundreds lol
