Little question. Never having damaged a car or had to have anything damage related repaired, I wanted to check something and get your opinion.

depending on the impact and the angle of the wheel at the time of impact, yes it could put the tracking out.

Worth checking? yes, the first time you will notice it is when abnormal wear on the tyres is visible. Other option is not to check but measure tyre wear across the tread now, and note it, then check every week to ensure wear is even. Spray the scrape with laquer my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

Thanks everyone. Considering getting a squeak/whine checked so may be worth getting it done at same time. Do you know if LR dealers can do it? |

Usually the tyre-fitting depots are cheaper than dealers for tracking - and they do it a lot more so are possibly better at it? Ours - 2008 Stornoway Grey HSE Auto

If your steering wheel is in the same position as it was before the shunt when driving in a straight line, your tracking won't be out. |

I did similar in a BMW 3 Coupe about 5 years ago - cost insurance £2k + - not a mark on the paint but wrecked rear suspension / wheel -
