A couple of times recently when I've been driving more than an hour I have noticed after ejecting the key fob that it feels warm. Now I was wondering if its due to have the air blowers set at warm? Does the air duct pass by the area of the fob?

Or is it a sign that the battery in the fob is starting to fail? I know sometimes batteries that are failing get warm when on charge.

Hi Steve, happens quite often to mine. It is normally after having the heating system on. Never thought of
